Bike cover cheaper than car insurance
Car insurance is typically more expensive than that for motorcycles, according to the AA.

Britons looking to save money on their car insurance may not have considered one option - switching to a motorcycle instead.
However, advice from the AA suggests that such a move could prove economically sound.
Ian Crowder, public relations manager at AA Insurance, explains that car insurance costs are frequently higher than motorcycle insurance premiums.
Meanwhile, a range of other benefits are also able to be achieved by moving to a motorbike instead of a car.
"Theyre easier to park, theyre economical and they do tend to be somewhat cheaper to insure as well," Mr Crowder says.
As motorcycles are also not subject to the congestion charge, London residents could find two wheels to be financially better than four.
Switching modes of transport purely due to the lower cost of motorcycle insurance might sound strange to some people.
But research reported by Post Office this month found that almost a third (29 per cent) of motorbike riders did so to save costs on running a car.

Good article. I love bikes and I have recently purchased one. Yes the bike cover is quite cheaper than car insurance. I have gone through one of the information site where it has given the full details of bike insurance. It is short term motorbike insurance for any duration ranging from single day to a maximum of 28 days in a single year. This temporary insurance can also be used when bikers want to insure someone else to ride their vehicle & it offers benefits like maximum duration of temporary cover for 28 days, uninsured loss recovery, getting cover in planned situations like driving another bike, getting loan of someone else's bike or to go for sightseeing motorcycle expedition, also protects you when going off during weekends, etc., this is really helped me a lot and its very easy to apply online and can get within short period of time. http://onedaycarinsure.co.uk/
