Financial services company More Th>n has announced the details of its new pet insurance policy.
From £4.99 per month, the pet saver cover will pay up to £2,000 of vets bills and has been created in response to research carried out by the company, which found 45 per cent of vets believe owners are becoming more aware of the health of their pets.
More Th>ns pet product manager, Melvin Everest, said: "As 82 per cent of pets in the UK are not insured, weve launched our new pet saver product to help even the most budget conscious pet owners ensure their pets can be protected."
"For as little as a couple of coffees or a small pet toy each month, pet owners can sleep easy knowing that their special friend will be looked after," he added.
More Th>n provides pet insurance for all breeds and says it processes most claims on the day they are received. It does not add exclusions to policies after a claim is made.
