More Than legal services offers good value to customers in comparison with other packages, a spokesperson has said.
Introduced in June 2002, More Than has been offering its customers a "comprehensive" legal services package that originated when it launched its Family Legal Services Extension to its home insurance policies.
It states that it was the first insurance company to offer customers a service of the kind and has subsequently helped people with a "huge range of day-to-day and more complex legal issues".
Mike Holliday-Williams, managing director of More Than Insurance, commented: "At less than £1.50 per month with a home insurance policy, Family Legal Services offers exceptional value, even compared to those new players now joining the market."
His comments follow news that Halifax is to launch a legal services operation, which allows its members access to wills and legal advice.
The service will cost customers £89 per annum and entitles them to access to all facilities ranging from telephone advice to resources online.
