Friends Provident, a member of the FTSE100 index, has a history dating back to 1832.  As with most life insurance policies their offering also includes terminal illness cover.  You do get a good degree of flexibility choosing whether you want level cover (from 5 to 40 years) or decreasing cover (from 10 to 40 years) and also how long it will last.  A super feature of this policy means it will hold until you are the sprightly age of 85 (which is 15 years more than some other policies!) if required.  In addition it gives you good adaptability allowing you to increase or reduce both the level and/or term as your needs change (such as marriage or birth of a child).
