HSBC divide their travel insurance policies into the two main categories: single trip and annual multi-trip. Single trip policies can be bought for a maximum duration of 120 days, and annual policies come with up to 90 days cover per trip. Both types of policy have an age limit restriction of 69 years and come with five optional extras: winter sports, golf, scuba, business travel and extra baggage cover.
Their policies are a little on the expensive side, and somewhat limited in range, but the level of cover and the benefits they provide are quite impressive, including features such as hijack and mugging protection, pet care, UK breakdown recovery (on you way from or to departure/arrival) and personal money protection as standard.
