Alliance & Leicester is inviting motorists to save on their car insurance renewals with a new price-beating scheme to be launched by the bank.
Anyone is free to apply for a quote, according to Alliance & Leicester, which is using car insurance as the first in a new line of insurance products to be offered.
Moreover, it is promising to beat renewal quotes from other companies by at least £10 in order to promote the launch.
Asked if the saving applies to all applicants, Nathan Barber-Kebby, insurance manager at Alliance & Leicester, said: "We have a minimum premium of £200 but other than that definitely yes.
"It would be a minimum of £10 and what we are finding already is that some customers are saving a lot more than that."
Mr Barber-Kebby noted that there is no room for apathy in securing a good deal for car insurance.
However, with quotes available online and over the telephone, he claimed that a price can be obtained "very, very easily".
Drivers with four or more years of no-claims bonus may benefit from the protection included as standard in Alliance & Leicesters car insurance.
