Post Office has promised its customers a better van insurance deal with the introduction of a new policy.

The development complements existing car insurance policies from Post Office, which says it is the fastest-growing provider in the UK.

Under the terms of the new package, the company advises that drivers injured in accidents may receive free physiotherapy treatment.

Claire Oldstein, head of communications at Post Office, said: "By including free physio treatment for injured drivers and accident assistance, our new van insurance can help get small business back on the road."

"We know how important it is for them to keep moving," she added.

Further features aimed at small businesses include a 24-hour claims helpline and a £50 cashback offer for new policies.

There is also the option to add RAC breakdown cover to the policy to get drivers moving again even faster.

Post Office states that while it does not currently provide cover for more than one vehicle on the same van insurance policy, it is working on a new product to address the issue in the future.
