Van insurance provider Co-operative (CIS) is sponsoring an exhibition which will showcase eco-friendly vehicles.
The group claims the Sexy Green Car Show is set to be the first event of its kind in the world and will enable motorists to compare car insurance and other issues facing green drivers.
Scheduled to be staged at the giant Eden Project in Cornwall, the exhibition is likely to feature car-makers including Ford, Saab and Vauxhall and other motor industry representatives encouraging motorists to consider going green.
"When Eden first approached us to support the worlds first green car show here in Britain we were eager to get onboard," commented David Newman, marketing director at CIS.
He added: "We are firm believers that every person can make a tiny difference to climate change and our unique eco insurance product allows green drivers to do this."
The two-week show is set to take place between March 30th and April 15th 2007.
Last year car insurance provider More Than launched a new product which offers premiums discounts to existing customers with an eco-friendly hybrid vehicle.
