Online car insurance shoppers may find a cheaper policy in less time, according to Churchill.
A spokesperson for the insurer suggests that Churchills own online transactions can be completed in a matter of minutes.
"Its also only one page so its very easy - only around one in eight people call us when they are halfway through," explains Emma Holyer.
"You can do it anytime - not limited by hours that we work - and its easy to compare the prices that youre getting."
She adds that once the form is submitted, a printed certificate is provided through the post and any necessary amendments can then be made.
According to Ms Holyer, there is an even split between male and female customers, across the age groups and among those looking for van or bike insurance.
In addition to offering car insurance online, Churchill also allows customers to arrange their cover over the phone.
