Natwest has announced an offer of free home emergency cover for a year on all new home insurance policies.
The firms home insurance arm has said that all new home insurance policies bought prior to October 31st this year will include 12 months of free emergency cover.
The cover allows the holder access to round the clock services from fully qualified contractors who will be available to make emergency repairs if required.
Up to £500 in callout charges, labour and materials is provided with the cover and the contractors will come out should a home be insecure or unsafe or if it is left without water or lighting.
Bob Trinder, head of Natwest Insurance Services, commented: "Home emergency cover means you don’t have to search Yellow Pages for a plumber or electrician, worry about rogue traders or face an unexpected bill.
"You just call the 24 hour helpline and the arrangements are made for you with selected contractors who are paid directly."
