More Than is offering a years contents insurance for free as a reward to customers who do not claim in their first two years of cover.
A total of £79,000 of cover is provided by standard contents insurance from More Than, including £2,000 for plants and £2,000 for garden furniture and childrens toys.
The new fixed-price option is expected to save customers up to £100, or 30 per cent, over the course of the three years, with the third year free if no claim has been made.
Mike Holliday-Williams, managing director of More Than, said: "Homeowners have told us they want simple pricing and a reward for not making claims on their home contents cover, so thats what weve done."
"At More Than were always looking for ways we can do more to protect and reward our customers," he added.
The policy is available now for customers seeking contents insurance, with additional discounts available if building insurance is taken at the same time, says the insurer.
More Than adds that customers purchasing contents insurance online may receive a further 25 per cent discount on their policy.
