More Than is offering its customers the chance to protect their assets through an extension of its home insurance cover this Valentines Day.
Couples getting engaged this February 14th are being given the option of arranging prenuptial agreements via More Thans online legal documents service.
The facility is provided as an add-on to More Thans home insurance policy and costs from £18 per year, the insurer states.
Once a policyholder has access to the documents, they may be updated as often as desired for no additional fee, while legal professionals are available to check them for free.
In this way, the firm claims customers could prevent unexpected decisions by third parties, such as to grant assets to children from a spouses previous marriage.
Couples whose romance is coming to an end may also use the online documents to arrange a divorce, the company added.
By using the documents for name changes, property agreements and updating a will, More Than suggests the average customer could save over £2,000.
More Than says its home insurance provides up to £75,000 of cover as standard and can be purchased with a 25 per cent discount via the companys website.
