Intelligent Finance, a division of Bank of Scotland plc (part of HBOS Group), was launched in 2000 with the aim of offering UK bank customers a better deal on their financial products and services. Several years on Intelligent finance has won a number of consumer awards and become a recognised name in the direct banking market.
Intelligent Finance offer personal loans that are split into two main types – a low rate loan that offers a competitive APR but comes with a charge of two month’s interest for early repayment, and a loan with a slightly higher interest rate that allows borrowers to repay their debt early with no penalty fee. Both loan types are available for amount of between £1,000 and £25,000 with repayment terms of up to seven years.
