The Post Office Travel Money Card is designed to make it more secure and convenient for travellers to carry money and make payments while abroad. There is no sign-up fee and cards come in three currencies – Euros, Dollars and Sterling. On the practical side of things there are no loading fees on Euro and Dollar cards, transaction fees are only incurred if the transaction currency is different to that of the card and Travel Money Cards can be topped up at any foreign currency Post Office branch or over the telephone.

In all, the Post Office Travel Money Card is a practical alternative to carrying a lot of foreign currency when travelling and since they can carry a maximum balance of £5,000 (or equivalent) they are suitable for most travellers.
