RAC offer a broad range of breakdown packages that provide cover to suit all needs and budgets. There are five main UK packages to choose from: the cheapest policy, Roadside, provides roadside assistance for breakdowns over a ¼ mile from your home and vehicle recovery to the nearest RAC approved garage if your vehicle cannot be repaired roadside. At the other end of the RAC range, the Roadside + Recovery + Onward Travel + At Home package provides a comprehensive selection of features: roadside and home breakdown assistance; recovery to any mainland UK destination for your vehicle and up to 8 people; onward travel options if your car cannot be fixed including car hire and air or rail fares; and a reasonable no claims discount on renewal. The three other packages fall somewhere in between these two.

All RAC breakdown policies have competitive, fixed prices, optional cover for vans or pick-ups and are available in single, joint and family memberships.
