The Royal Bank of Scotland Platinum Credit Card is available to customers over 18 years of age with a salary of over £10,000. The card comes with a lengthy introductory period on interest-free balance transfers (2.9% fee applies with a minimum charge of £5), a reasonable period for interest-free purchases and an excellent, competitively low typical APR.

Cardholders can manage their account online and are protected by RBS's usual card security features including internet fraud protection and fraud warning text alerts and there is also the option to take out card and payment protection services.
