The Royal Banks of Soctland’s Student MasterCard is a lacklustre card available only to RBS Student/Student Royalties Account holders. The card comes with a fairly high APR, no annual fee, a £500 credit limit and a few limited extras. On the plus side it has all the usual RBS security features such as internet fraud and identity theft protection and an optional card protection scheme.
One of the card’s main hooks for students seems to be its extras package; the discounts and deals on offer, however, are from drawn a somewhat narrow selection of online retailers including Kitbag.com, Snapfish.com and O'Neill.
