The Sky+ box combines a standard satellite receiver and digital recording allowing hours of programming to be digitally stored on a hard drive at the touch of a button and also allows users to pause or rewind live TV. Sky HD boxes offer the same features as Sky+ equipment but also provide higher picture quality for high definition televisions. Sky also provides a ‘Multiroom’ facility with additional satellite receivers so that different channels can be viewed simultaneously in different rooms.
