Tuxedo prepaid cards, issued by Newcastle Building Society, are available for £9.95 to anyone over the age of 18 years. Customers can choose from two types of card - MasterCard or Maestro - and two types of Tuxedo ‘eccount’: the Pay Monthly account which comes with a monthly fee but no charges for standard or overseas transactions; and the Pay As You Go account which eschews the monthly charges in favour of a 2.95% fee on all card purchases.
Tuxedo cardholders can also benefit from a cashback scheme when shopping online through the Tuxedo Cashback Website. Via this service cashback can be earned at varying rates with online purchases of products from M&S, Dorothy Perkins and Superdrug and many more. Purchases are tracked and cashback paid onto the customer’s Tuxedo Card automatically.
