Yorkshire Building Society offers both secured homeowner loans and unsecured personal loans. For secured loans the Yorkshire Building Society merely acts as introducer and loans are actually provided by Bright Finance who offers loans of between £2,500 and £150,000.
Similarly, YBS’s personal loans are provided by Liverpool Victoria. Customers can borrow up to £25,000 with their low typical rate applicable to loans over £9,000. Borrowers can choose to defer repayments for the first three months of their loan and/or take out optional payment protection insurance.
