1st Central Plus Car Insurance
First Central Insurance Management, or 1st Central, is a subsidiary of the First Central Group which deals with insurance, finance, technology, and underwriting, among other services. The group was founded in Guernsey in 2008 by Ken Acott, Mike Leonard, Patrick Tilley and Peter Creed. Although the organisation has a number of offices located over the UK, 1st Central Insurance is based primarily in Hayward’s Heath, West Sussex. The company deals only with car insurance, aiming to deliver drivers a fair and competitive quote by acting as an intermediary between the customers and the insurers. 1st Central aims to simplify the process of buying insurance to make it easier for customers to understand their policy.
1st Central Plus Insurance is an extended version of the standard policy offered by 1st Central. As well as the usual benefits offered by their comprehensive policy such as personal belongings cover, windscreen cover and use of a courtesy car, 1st Central Plus includes breakdown cover. As this can also be purchased with extra features in addition to an insurance policy, customers may want to see exactly what levels of cover are included in 1st Central Plus so they can choose the option that best fits their needs.
As with standard 1st Central customers, drivers who choose 1st Central Plus will have online access to their details and documents. They will also be able to contact the company’s call centres and their 24-hour claims line which are both based in the UK.
