Adrian Flux Car Insurance
Adrian Flux is a specialist insurance broker, based near King’s Lynn in Norfolk. The eponymous founder of the company established it in 1974, initially specialising in kit cars before branching out to insure other models and products. Adrian Flux’s speciality continues to lie in insuring more niche markets, such as classic cars, high-performance cars, modified vehicles, imports, learner drivers, and drivers with convictions, but it also finds policies for vans, bikes, and homes. The broker compares many of the UK’s leading providers, including Allianz, AXA, Aviva, Markerstudy, KGM, RSA, Sabre, Zenith, Zurich, and more, to find appropriate insurance for its customers.
Drivers have the choice of comprehensive cover or third party, fire and theft cover from Adrian Flux. The policies will be sourced from one of their insurers, as they try to find the policy which best meets the requirements of each individual driver. The more comprehensive policies may include extra features and levels of cover, such as windscreen cover, personal belongings cover, and cover for in-car audio or navigational systems, although these are not guaranteed and are subject to certain terms. If a driver wants more protection than their policy provides, they can buy some optional cover for breakdown, keycare, misfuel, use of a courtesy car, or excess protection.
Adrian Flux specialises in offering insurance to drivers and vehicles typically seen as ‘higher risk’, as they cover non-standard models and individuals with a more complex driving background. To help younger drivers get more affordable insurance, they also offer a telematics policy.
Limited mileage policies may be available from Adrian Flux, for drivers who don’t use their car too often.
