Andrew Yule Telematics Car Insurance

Andrew Yule is an independent, family-owned insurance broker based in Glasgow, which was established in 1981. It offers several insurance policies for cars, vans, homes, businesses, and travel, working with different insurers to find suitable cover for each customer. Andrew Yule compares policies from a range of insurers, including Aviva, KGM, Zenith, Highway, AXA, Covea, Markerstudy, and RSA, to source quality cover at a competitive price.

In addition to their standard car insurance, Andrew Yule also offers a telematics policy for young and newer drivers, called “Free Driver”. As 17-25-year olds are typically regarded as “high risk”, they tend to face high insurance costs from most providers until they build up their driving history. A telematics policy can often be a cheaper option for younger drivers as it tracks their driving habits and how safe they are on the roads, which can lead to lower insurance premiums, particularly upon renewal. Andrew Yule’s Free Driver policy doesn’t set any curfew limits and enables customers to receive feedback via an online dashboard, with the aim of making them safer drivers.

Andrew Yule telematics car insurance offers drivers different levels of cover, depending on the needs and budget of the individual and which insurer provides the policy. If the drivers choose a comprehensive policy, they may receive some extra features such as legal protection, excess protection, breakdown cover, and windscreen cover. If these aren’t included as standard, they may be available to purchase as an optional extra. The specific protection offered with a policy can vary between policies and individuals, and will be subject to certain terms, so drivers should consult their documents to see what cover they have.
