Swinton Car Insurance – Essentials
Swinton Insurance started life in 1957, when Ken Scowcroft started selling car insurance in the Manchester area. Over the years Swinton has expanded and now provides numerous insurance policies for cars, vans, bikes, taxis, caravans, homes, and businesses, finding suitable cover from its insurers. The broker aims to accommodate both standard and ‘non-standard’ needs, including young drivers, drivers with convictions, high-performance vehicles, modified cars, or imports. Swinton’s Essentials car insurance is a more basic policy than its classic and premier policies, but it still comes with a number of benefits as standard.
Swinton only offers comprehensive cover with its Essentials car insurance policies. Although it comes with fewer features than the classic and premier policies, it does still offer several benefits such as emergency medical costs, car repairs, in-car audio and Sat Nav systems cover, and use of a courtesy car. Windscreen cover is also available up to a certain amount and drivers may have third party cover to drive other vehicles, although they should check their policy documents for confirmation.
For an additional fee, drivers can add some optional extras to their Swinton Essentials cover such as legal protection, breakdown cover, and a Protected No-Claim Bonus. If drivers want more cover, extra protection is available on Swinton’s other policies including personal belongings cover, lock replacement, cover for driving abroad, and misfuel cover.
Policyholders can pay for their Swinton Essential car insurance policy in one annual payment or over a set of monthly instalments.
