U Drive Cover Car Insurance
U Drive Cover was incorporated in 2013 by Steve Barnard and is based in the Surrey village of Sunbury. They work with a number of insurers such as ABC, Ageas, ERS, Aviva, Highway, AXA, Markerstudy, Sabre, Towergate, and Zenith to find the right cover for their customers, particularly those with ‘non-standard’ needs. U Drive specialises in sourcing insurance for groups deemed “higher risk”, including drivers with convictions, young drivers, modified vehicles, imports, and high-performance vehicles. As well as private car insurance, U Drive Cover also offers policies for commercial vehicles, motorcycles, and homes. They aim to provide individuals with tailored cover at a competitive price, whatever their age or specific requirements.
Drivers can choose whether they have third party only; third party, fire and theft; or comprehensive cover with their U Drive Cover car insurance. Their policy may also come with extra protection, depending on their needs, budget, and which insurer supplies them with the cover. For example, the most comprehensive policies may include windscreen and window cover, personal accident cover, medical expenses cover, personal belongings cover, misfuel cover, child seat replacement cover, use of a courtesy car, key cover, and cover for any in-car entertainment or navigational systems. Certain insurers provide third party cover for driving other vehicles, but drivers should check their documents to see if this is something they have.
U Drive Cover offers some optional extras for drivers who want further protection. For example, they can add breakdown cover (local, national, and European), guaranteed hire vehicle, legal cover, excess protection, key cover, and windscreen cover to their policy (if they aren’t already included).
Ex-company car drivers may also be able to find competitive insurance from U Drive Cover.
