Cookies - What is a cookie?
'Cookies' are small text files that are stored by the browser on your computer or mobile phone. Websites are able to read and write these files, allowing them store things like personalisation details or user preferences.
Know Your Money uses 'cookies' to ascertain how people navigate and use the website. This information is subsequently used to make the website more user-friendly and improve the site for our users. They also allow us to identify unusual behaviour of fraudulent activity on our site.
The information stored in the 'cookie' is not linked in anyway to any personal information that we hold in our database and a cookie does not give us access to your computer or to any information that you have not chosen to give us.
Know Your Money also works with third parties to help us and our advertisers understand your use of the site and to track sales. As part of that process they may set a cookie on your computer to enable them to provide this service.

The majority of advertisers work with third-party tracking solutions to track sales and record the sources of traffic. Those providers will often drop a cookie on your computer when you click through a link from our site to a product providers site. No information which identifies you, for example your name, address, email address or telephone number, is used to provide this advertising. These cookies do not collect personal data about you nor are they linked to any identifiable information about you.
Each advertiser may use a different product provider and those product providers will also drop cookies when you click on links within other websites, so it is not always easy to identify the source of the cookie.
