Ski Club Travel Insurance

The Ski Club was established in 1903, which makes it one of the oldest snowsports clubs in the world. It is a recreational club that aims to promote safe and enjoyable snowsports experiences. The club, which is based in Wimbledon, London, provides travel insurance for members and non-members alike. Ski Club members will normally get a discount on their policy. As would be expected, the policies are particularly suited to holidaymakers who do a lot of winter sports on their travels, although this doesn’t preclude people purchasing insurance for non-winter sports trips.

The Ski Club offers both single trip and multi-trip policies, which have different levels of cover available. As a minimum, all the policies provide cover for emergency medical treatment, trip cancellations, missed departures, and if you have to return home early. They also cover personal possessions that are lost, stolen, or damaged, including specialist winter sports equipment. The more comprehensive policies may provide cover for hired equipment, lost cash or passports, and some dental treatment.

A wide range of activities are already covered as standard, but if a planned activity isn’t covered, additional packs are available to purchase alongside a travel insurance policy. These provide cover for more extreme sports such as ski mountaineering, bobsleigh, and ski blading. Customers can also choose to add other optional extensions to their policy, such as golf, cruise, fishing, business, and wedding cover.

Family policies are available with Ski Club, which provide free cover for children, subject to certain terms and conditions.

Ski Club provides policies for travellers into their 70s and 80s. Single trip policies have a higher age limit than multi-trip policies.
