Insurance Factory Van Insurance
The Insurance Factory is a broker which provides several specialist motor insurance products. The company, which was established in 1974, offers insurance to ‘higher-risk’ groups such as drivers with convictions and young/inexperienced drivers, as well as those who transport fragile/hazardous goods. It liaises with insurers to find good quality, competitive cover that meets the requirements of its customers. The Insurance Factory is also part of the Markerstudy Group, an organisation that was founded in 2001 and specialises in motor insurance and other complementary services.
The Insurance Factory can provide van drivers with the usual levels of cover: third party only, third party, fire and theft; and comprehensive. They can also cover a wide range of vans with different uses and trades, including scrap dealers, delivery drivers, haulage, and couriers, as well as young or convicted drivers. Some of these trades require specialist insurance, such as goods in transit cover and ‘hire and reward’, and the Insurance Factory may be able to provide this. Although the features included in a policy depends on the insurer and level of cover chosen, they may include windscreen cover, in-van entertainment cover, personal belongings cover, and use of a courtesy van.
If something isn’t included in their policy, drivers can purchase some optional extras to tailor their insurance to their needs. These may include a guaranteed van replacement, excess protection, breakdown cover, keycare cover, and gadget cover. For customers who use their van for business, tools cover may also be available to protect tools that are stolen or damaged whilst in the vehicle.
