One Insurance Solution Van Insurance
One Insurance Solution is a brand of Brightside Insurance which was established in 2012. Brightside can be traced back to 2001, when it was a specialist van insurance provider, but over the years it expanded into other areas. One Insurance Solutions is itself a specialist broker for both private and commercial customers. It aims to accommodate a range of vehicles, providing them with the protection they need at a competitive price.
Drivers can choose the level of cover they need, whether that’s third party only; third party, fire and theft; or comprehensive. Third party is the minimum legal requirement that all van drivers need, whilst comprehensive cover offers protection to the policyholder and their vehicle, as well as to third parties. The policies may also come with some extra features, such as windscreen cover, liability cover, in-van audio/entertainment systems cover, and vehicle repair or replace service. A collect, fix, and return service may also be available.
Depending on how a vehicle is used, van drivers may need specific policies or cover. Drivers can select how they use their vehicle, from social, domestic and pleasure (with or without commuting), or business use. Business use is further divided into carriage of own goods (i.e. if you use the van for business/trade purposes) and ‘hire and reward’ which covers vans used primarily for couriering and making deliveries.
