Screentrade Van Insurance

Screentrade is an online insurance broker located in Romford which first appeared in 1997 and was purchased by Lloyds TSB in 2001, then Devitt Insurance in 2011. Devitt has a long and extensive history as the brand was officially established in 1936, particularly specialising in motorbike insurance but since expanding into other areas. Screentrade itself relaunched in 2014, aiming to provide good-value cover that meets the varied needs of its customers. They compare policies from a range of insurers to try to find the most affordable cover with the protection drivers and their vehicles require.

Screentrade offers the standard levels of van cover: third party only; third party, fire and theft; and comprehensive. These policies are available for vans with different commercial uses, whether carriage of own goods (e.g. items related to businesses and trades) or haulage (vans used to transport third-party goods to a certain location). Certain policies may come with extra features, although this is subject to which insurer provides the policy and how much cover the driver purchases. They may include windscreen cover, legal expenses cover, personal accident cover, in-van audio equipment cover, and personal possessions cover. Drivers may also be able to protect their no-claims bonus for an additional fee.

Should they need to make a claim, policyholders can contact Screentrade’s accident helpline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
