Staveley Head Van Insurance
Staveley Head was founded in 1991 and specialises in providing more niche insurance products for both businesses and individuals. Although it started out primarily as a provider of car and home insurance, it branched out into vans and other specialist vehicles. Staveley Head consults with a panel of insurers to find quality cover that’s good value for their customers.
Staveley Head gives van drivers a choice of a third party, fire and theft policy or a comprehensive policy, depending on their needs and budget. Third party only cover may also be available for some vans. These come with different levels of protection and different features as, for example, comprehensive policies may include use of a courtesy vehicle and windscreen cover, although these are subject to which insurer provides the policy. Staveley Head also offers several optional extras that drivers can add to their van insurance, such as guaranteed van hire, breakdown cover, and legal expenses. Importantly for commercially-used vehicles, goods in transit cover and tools cover are available to purchase, providing protection for specific contents of a vehicle should they get damaged or stolen.
Vans with a range of private and business uses can find insurance at Staveley Head. For example, they can cater for HGVs, imported vans, courier vans, and fleets, as well as vans used for ‘carriage of own goods’ (e.g. tradespeople). These often require more specialist cover, so Staveley Head offers tailored policies that accommodate the particular risks involved. For example, courier insurance policies include goods in transit cover as standard.
