Zenith Van Insurance
Zenith Insurance has been in operation since 1937 and is part of the Markerstudy Group. The Group, which is based in Kent, was established in 2001 and claims to be an innovative organisation that provides a range of insurance services and related, complementary products. Zenith offers insurance for cars and learner drivers as well as vans, with varying levels of cover depending on how the vehicle is used. It aims to cater for vans of all different uses, whether drivers just want essential cover or they want more extensive protection.
Zenith offers third party only, third party, fire and theft, and comprehensive cover for van owners. Third party is the minimum level of insurance all van drivers legally require, with cover for fire damage and theft added onto the two other policies. Third party, fire and theft and comprehensive policies also offer extra features such as in-vehicle entertainment cover and cover for a new replacement vehicle, with even more benefits available on a comprehensive policy. These include glass/windscreen cover, replacement lock cover, personal belongings cover, personal accident cover, and use of a courtesy van.
Policyholders can choose to add some optional extras to their cover, including a guaranteed replacement van (for a set period of time after an accident/theft) and different levels of breakdown cover, ranging from the essentials to full European cover. Customers can also add tools in transit to their policy, which covers tools if they are stolen, destroyed, or damaged whilst in the van (or being loaded in and out of the vehicle).
